We will travel to south Georgia on this trip, on the way we will see Dashbashi Canyon, Paravani Lake – located 2,073 meters above the sea level, Cave town Vardzia, Khertvisi fortress, Vanis Qvabebi, Medieval fortress Rabati and beautiful town of Borjomi.
You don’t want to miss the chance to visit one of the most prominent historical sights and wonders of nature of the South Caucasus.

Tour Highlights:
We will pick you up from your hotel in Tbilisi and drive to Dashbashi Canyon, which is located in the region of Tsalka, is carved by Ktsia (Khrami) River in the stream bed cut through the rocks of Dashbash volcanic plateau, after exploring the area about an hour, will continue our way through Javakheti Plateau and make a stop by Paravani lake,  the largest lake in Georgia, located at an altitude of 2,073 meters above sea level. There are mountains behind the lake (Abul-Samsari Range) which creates a wonderful scenery.
We continue our way to Vardzia cave town, Vardzia is one of the highlights of the trip and stretches over half a kilometer along the river Mtkvari, with 19 tiers. There used to be about 3000 caves here, but now there are just over 500. It has a church carved out of rock with amazing 12th century frescoes. The Complex also includes living quarters, small hall-type churches, wine cellar, etc.
 
In the morning will continue our tour, visit cave monastery Vanis Qvabebi, Khertvisi fortress from XII century, newly renovated Rabati fortress, symbol of tolerance, where you can see  the Georgian church, mosque and Madrassa – Islamic school, citadel, and unique museum. Will continue our way to Borjomi, and walk to Borjomi mineral Water Park and taste its famous mineral water.
Full of excitement, lots of wonderful impression, we will drive back to Tbilisi.
